La magie des tournées nous a fait rencontrer Vlasta Popic, power-trio Croate, dans une cave sombre à la frontière croato-slovène en 2012. Alors sur la promo de leur premier album « Za očnjake », les 3 compères nous avaient mis une sacrée claque avec leur grunge sauce actuelle, parfaitement maitrisé. Les 2 chants atypiques de la batteuse et du guitariste (en croate, s’il vous plait) envoutants au possible, sublimaient déjà le tout. Depuis ils ont bouffé pas mal de route et dépassé quelques frontières, jusqu’à poser enfin leurs amplis en France au printemps 2014, sur une série de dates remarquée.

A travers ces 9 titres ingénieux et efficaces, qui composent ce 2ème album «Kvadrat», Vlasta Popic affirment une nouvelle fois leur réinterprétation personnelle du style. Mixant post-punk, grunge, voir même pop dans une enveloppe plus sombre et diablement addictive.
